Si talentati, si neinfricati. Doi romani, ajunsi unul la 102 si celalalt la 95 de ani, se numara printre cei mai iubiti veterani si eroi de razboi din Statele Unite. Traiesc acolo de aproape un secol, dar, cumva, Romania din ei a supravietuit. Si razboiului, si adaptarii. Au stabilit premiere memorabile si au facut acte de vitejie despre care inca se mai vorbeste peste ocean, iar numele lor a ajuns legenda.

Petre Cordescu Ionescu Piloto caza rumano de la segunda guerra mundial, perteneciente a la 53 escuadrilla de caza, piloteando el "hawker hurricane mk1", "heinkel" y "messerschmit bf109g".

German audio, WIKIPEDIA CUTS INFO: In parts of 1928 and 1929, Oberth also worked in Berlin, Germany as a scientific consultant on the first film ever to have scenes set in outer space, Frau im Mond ("The Woman in the Moon"), which was directed and produced by the great film pioneer Fritz Lang at the Universum Film AG company. This film was of enormous value in popularizing the ideas of rocketry and space exploration. One of Oberth's main assignments was to build and launch a rocket as a publicity event just before the film's premiere. He also designed the model of the "Friede", the main rocket portrayed in the film.

We Remember
Country music recording artist Dwayne O'Brien performed his song "We Remember" (available on the CD "Song Pilot" at www.flightsongrecords.mybigcommerce.com) at the annual convention of the International Council of Air Shows last December in Las Vegas, Nevada. And he produced this video to be projected on the screens behind him while he sang.
